Oneta Faye (McCormick Hyer, 85, of Perryton, died Aug. 20, 2026.
Burial will be Thursday, Sept. 3, at 11 a.m. at Floydada Cemetery in Floydada.Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
She was born Dec. 22, 1940, and married Robert “Bob” Arlon Hyer, Jr, on Nov. 2, 1957 in Floydada.
She was a member of Victory Family Church, and formerly owned Village Treasures and Bee Cute Salon, as well as an antique shop in Moore, OK.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; one son, Rodney Hyer; one daughter, Melinda Hyer; her parents, Robert and Mary McCormick; one sister, Lajuanna Badgett; and one brother, James McCormick.
She is survived a niece and nephew and two greatnieces.
