Quilt guild has program on using color in projects

The Friendship Quilt Guild met March 12 at Community Worship Center.Carol McGarraugh gave the program on “Color or (Fear of Color.)” She distributed handouts for the program. She said quilting is as much about color as it is about block patterns, quilt settings and quilting designs.

Balko Lions set consignment auction The Balko Lions Club will hold their 49th annual consignment auction on Saturday, April 26, at 10 a.m. at the Balko School. Consignments will be taken through April 25, but to be on the sale bill, they must be in by April 7.

School board meets March 24

The Perryton School Board met March 24.Supt. Greg. Brown recognized students from around the district for recent accomplishments. They included art, golf, livestock shows, the Ranger soccer team and PHS powerlifting teams.
