COVID-19 cases drop again

The number of active COVID-19 cases in Ochiltree County have dropped again, falling over 10 cases. According to data from the Texas Department of State Health Services, Ochiltree County’s estimated active cases of COVID-19 stand at 32, down from 46 cases last Thursday afternoon.

VALENTINE’S DAY PREPARATIONS

Kiwanis Club sets date and deadlines for annual auction

The Perryton Kiwanis Club will be holding its 37th annual auction fund-raiser Saturday, March 6 at the Ochiltree County Expo Center. The auction is the major fund-raising event of the year for the Kiwanis Club.

OCJLA SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS

Nine students were awarded scholarships during the Ochiltree County Junior Livestock Show and Sale Jan. 22-23.

Fabela, Marquez are Students of Month

The Perryton Rotary Club selected Perryton High School seniors Andrea Fabela and Hector Marquez as its February Students of the Month. They were introduced at the club’s meeting Feb. 4. Fabela is the daughter of Carla Villagran and Jesus Fabela.

PISD hosts Pre-K survey for parents Perryton Independent School District is in the planning phase for a full-day Pre-K program. The district requests that all parents of four-year-olds (as of Sept. 1, 2021) complete a short survey.
