Land Bank to distribute record $8.8 million in patronage to stockholders

Plains Land Bank has good news for its stockholders. It will distribute a record $8.8 million in cash patronage to its stockholders in April. The rural lending cooperative declared the patronage distribution based on its strong financial results in 2020.

Vandalism, theft are reported during week

Criminal mischief and a case of theft were among the crimes reported during the week. The Panhandle Crisis Center Resale Store reported a man had stolen bras from the store. He left on a bicycle. There is a suspect in the case. Miguel Ortega, 613 S. Eton, told police his vehicle had been egged.
