Active COVID-19 cases surge upwards

The number of active COVID-19 cases in Ochiltree County rose significantly late this week. According to data from the Texas Department of State Health Services, Ochiltree County’s estimated active cases of COVID-19 stand at 21, up from 14 cases on Tuesday afternoon.

Students at Wright Elementary School got together Friday for the Lunch Bunch. Every Friday, students from a select group at the school get to eat lunch with school counselor Kat Broome, who takes the opportunity to get to know the kids and find out what’s happening in their lives.

SCAVENGER HUNT FOOD DRIVE—Members of Ochiltree County 4-H had a scavenger hunt food drive last Thursday to collect items for Jireh Food Ministry. Members collected 319 items — over 300 pounds — to donate to Jireh.
