Active COVID-19 cases unchanged

The number of active COVID-19 cases in Ochiltree County were holding steady late last week. According to data from the Texas Department of State Health Services, Ochiltree County’s estimated active cases of COVID-19 stand at 19, unchanged from Tuesday afternoon.

Snack Pak 4 Kids to meet May 3

Rifle Club to hold Steel Challenge Match

The Perryton Rifle and Pistol Club will hold its monthly Steel Challenge Match on Sunday, May 2, at 1 p.m. at the Chuck Waller Range at Lake Fryer. Competitors will shoot two courses. Competitors can fire 22 long rifles and pistols, pistol caliber carbines (9mm, .40, and .

City to hold lifeguard classes

The City of Perryton will offer lifeguard classes on May 5-9 and May 12-16 at 5 p.m., each day at the Perryton Activity Center. Assistance will be available for anyone needing help with any water skills prior to the class. Call City Hall at 435-4014 for more information.

Blood drive set at FPC

Coffee Memorial Blood Center will hold a blood drive on Tuesday, May 4, from 2-6 p.m. at Frank Phillips College, Allen Campus. Photo identification and masks will be required. Donors must be at least 17 years old, but donors who are 16 may donate with a signed parental consent form.

Crisis center golf tourney set

Panhandle Crisis Center’s 24th Annual Golf Tournament will be held Saturday, May 1, at 9 a.m. Entry fees for the Two-Player Scramble are $50 per player and include green fees, range balls, mulligans, beverages during play, and lunch. Contact the Perryton Golf Club Pro Shop at 435-5381 to register.

American Legion to hold monthly meeting
