IRS offers guidance on premiums, tax credit for health coverage

The Internal Revenue Service has provided guidance on tax breaks under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 for continuation health coverage under the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985 (COBRA).

The Treasury Department and the Internal Revenue Service is urgeing families to take advantage of a special online tool that can help them determine whether they qualify for the Child Tax Credit and the special monthly advance payments beginning on July 15.
