A longtime Perryton tradition for golfers around the area will return this weekend. The Perryton-Ochiltree Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the 47 th annual Oil Patch Golf Tournament on July 9-11 at the Perryton Golf Course to honor the oil and gas industry in the Perryton area.

More rain hits county over July 4 weekend

Perryton and Ochiltree County got a little more rain this week – most of it falling during the July Fourth weekend. KEYE Radio’s official rainfall total was .25 of an inch. Jerome and Bobette Doerrie, who live four miles northwest of Booker, reported .85 of an inch of rain.

Active COVID-19 cases remain at zero in county

Ochiltree County’s active COVID-19 cases are still sitting at zero this week. The county has had no active cases of the virus since mid-June.
