4-H members compete in recordbook contest

Four Ochiltree 4-H members competed at the Panhandle District 4-H Roundup Recordbook Contests on July 7 in Amarillo. Over 130 4-H members from across the Texas Panhandle submitted recordbooks in over 20 different projects to be evaluated.

Texas Comptroller’s Office releases new sales tax rate resource for sellers

In response to the growing complexity of local sales and use tax collection and reporting, Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced June 30 that his agency updated its Sales Tax Rate Locator services to help sellers determine their tax responsibility at the time of sale.
