This year’s Celebration activities will get underway in just two weeks

The Perryton-Ochiltree Chamber of Commerce has finalized their schedule for this August’s Wheatheart of the Nation Celebration activities. Currently scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 3, from 1-6 p.m. will be the Boots and Badges Community Blood Drive at Frank Phillips College, Allen Campus.

Burkes Outlet store to move into old Bealls location

A new discount store will be moving into the building that used to house Bealls in Perryton. Local residents were treated this week to the sight of signs hanging from the building reading “Burkes Outlet – Coming Soon.
