Pandemic help for timber harvesters

Texans who make a living cutting or hauling timber, or processing wood by chipping or grinding, are eligible for grants from a fund of up to $200 million provided by the U.S. Department of Agriculture under a pandemic assistance program.

Two burglaries reported

A couple of burglaries and dog bites were investigated by police during the week. Natasha Crawford, 814 S. Fordham, reported her residence had been burglarized. The front door was damaged to enter the home. Clothing, antique figurines, various knickknacks and other items were stolen.
