-Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar is reminding shoppers they can save money on clothes and school supplies during the state’s sales tax holiday on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 6-8.

On July 28, 2021, the Ochiltree County Sheriff’s Department had outstanding warrants on the following people: Saul Jaquez Corral, date of birth, Sept. 2, 1983. No other personal information was available. Last known address was Guymon, OK. There is one misdemeanor warrant for Corral for speeding.

Saturday’s Crime Stoppers golf tourney winners listed

The 28th Annual Perryton-Ochiltree County Crime Stoppers Golf Tournament was held July 24 at the city golf course. First flight winners were Dustin Chambers and Frank Carter, first gross, with a score of 67; and Taylor Manross and David Manross, first net, 66.

Restrooms destroyed at two city parks

Perryton police are investigating some major damage done to two city parks this week. The restrooms at both Leatherman Park and Whigham Park were basically destroyed, costing the city thousands of dollars to repair.
