Rifle and Pistol Club sets monthly meeting

The Perryton Rifle and Pistol Club will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, Aug. 5, at 7 p.m. at the indoor range south of the Expo Center. The club will be discussing new and ongoing projects. All are welcome — new memberships and renewals will be available.

Summer Youth Musical to perform “Annie”

The Summer Youth Musical’s performance of the Broadway classic “Annie” has been rescheduled for Friday through Sunday, Aug. 13-15 at the Perryton Junior High School auditorium. The production will begin at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and at 3 p.m. on Sunday.

NEPTFCU holding school supply drive

The Northeast Panhandle Teacher Federal Credit Union, 211 S. Amherst, is accepting donations for basic school essentials to contribute to students and teachers purchasing supplies this year. Donations will be accepted though Aug. 3, then will be distributed to Perryton schools.

PAC sign up for fall sports underway

The Perryton Activity Center is currently signing up youth for football, volleyball and soccer. Youth football begins Sept. 4. Divisions are flag football, grades 1-2 (no pads); junior football, grades 3-4; and senior football, grades 5-6. Cost is $35 for PAC members and $65 for nonmembers.

Snack Pak 4 Kids sets summer schedule

Snack Pak 4 Kids will distribute snack bags every Thursday in June and July from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Stark Park, Leatherman Park, and Murphy Park. Look for the vehicle with the SP4K sign. Call 806-435-2489 for more information.

Farmers Market open

The Ochiltree County Farmers Market is now open in the parking lot at Perryton National Bank. If you would like to be a participant in this year’s market, please contact Rene Schwalk at 806-202-0049. The market is open to any handmade, homemade, or home grown items.
