American Legion to hold monthly meeting
The American Legion Post 254 will hold its monthly meeting on Monday, Dec. 6, at the Senior Citizen Center. A meal will be served at 6 p.m., and the meeting itself will begin at 7 p.m. All veterans are welcome to attend.

Information needed on broken window

Perryton-Ochiltree County Crime Stoppers needs information this week to solve a case involving damage.
On Nov. 15, it was reported tot he police department that a glass window was broken out in a residence in the 100 block of North Indiana. Damage was estimated at $100.

The Panhandle Professional Women has begun its annual Project Christmas Card drive to fund numerous local scholarships.
Donation boxes have been placed at several locations around town, complete with envelopes, for local residents to contribute to the fund.

COVID-19 cases fall in county

Active COVID-19 cases in Ochiltree County fell again, but a new fatality from the virus has been reported, bringing the county’s total to 38 deaths.
According to data from the Texas Department of State Health Services, the newest fatality occurred around the date of November 9.
