Commissioners approve sick leave pool policy

The Ochiltree County Commissioners’ Court met on Monday morning at the Ochiltree County Courthouse. The commissioners discussed and adopted a new sick leave pool policy for county employees.

Information needed on vandalized vehicles

Perryton-Ochiltree County Crime Stoppers needs information this week to solve a case of vehicle vandalism. Sometime on Sunday night, Jan. 23, three vehicles parked in the 1900 block of South Eton were vandalized.

USDA announces CRP program signups for 2022

Agricultural producers and landowners can sign up now for the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP), a cornerstone conservation program U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) The General CRP signup will run from Jan. 31 to March 11, and the Grassland CRP signup will run from April 4 to May 13.
