Willis Foundation awards grant to OGH

The Dean Allen Willis Foundation has awarded an annual grant to Ochiltree General Hospital. The grant will be used for continuing education for OGH doctors and nurses in the areas of trauma, emergency and critical care.

On Jan. 26, 2022, the Ochiltree County Sheriff’s Department had outstanding warrants on the following people: David L. Garrard, no personal information was available. Last known address was Perryton. There is one misdemeanor warrant for Garrard for issuance of bad checks.

GRAND CHAMPION GOAT—The award for Grand Champion Goat at the Ochiltree County Junior Livestock Show and Sale on Jan. 21-22 went to Cash Wheeler. The animal was purchased by United Supermarket, Chad Johnson, and Dr. Rick Siewert.

Statewide estate survey underway among producers,, rural landowners

Vehicles vandalized

Several vehicles were vandalized at a residence during the week. Three vehicles, parked at 1921 Eton were damaged. A car had damage to the front bumper and windshield. One pickup had its front door damaged and another pickup had its tailgate and rear driver side fender vandalized.
