Burglary, theft are investigated

A burglary, a theft and criminal mischief incidents were investigated by police. A burglary was reported at a resident at 1513 Jefferson. Taken were prescription drugs. Toot ‘n’ Totum reported a fuel theft at the convenience store. The suspect made off with $38 in fuel. A residence at 6 N.

PISD offers summer food service The Perryton ISD is offering its summer food service again in June. Meals are available to all children ages 18 and under. The meals will be served June 1-30. There will be two locations this year. Williams Intermediate will serve breakfast from 7:20 to 8 a.m.

Kids fishing tourney set for Saturday at lake

After a two-year break due to the pandemic, the Wolf Creek Improvement Board will again host its annual Children’s Fishing Tournament this Saturday, June 4, at Lake Fryer in Wolf Creek Park. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. at the Pavilion east of the Lobo Restaurant.

More COVID cases reported at OGH

Ochiltree General Hospital reported several new positive cases of COVID-19 in the last week. According to Chief Nursing Officer Jyme Kinnard, RN, OGH completed 41 total COVID-19 tests in the last seven days, with five positive cases.
