Jaime Pickett Johnson graduated from Perryton High School in 1995. She is the daughter of Don and Dixie Pickett. After graduating from high school, she set out to make her mark on the world. The steps she trudged led her to where she is today as a successful business owner.

Frank Phillips College Allen Campus, continued its annual Kids College last week, with activities planned for kids from ages 4-14. The “Canvas Painting” class let young artists create a new masterpiece every day, from blank canvas to finished product.

Hit and run accident reported

In a quiet week for police, only one incident was made, but the county jail was fairly busy. A hit and run to a blue pickup parked at 906 Jefferson was reported. The suspect vehicle is a white work truck.

Leadership Perryton taking applications for Class XXI

Applications are now being taken for the Leadership Perryton XXI class. Leadership Perryton will include outstanding speakers, tours, workshops, networking, and more. Leadership Perryton XXI is sponsored by Perryton-Ochiltree Chamber of Commerce and the Community Development Corporation.

Genealogical Society to meet The TX-OK Panhandle Genealogical Society will meet Thursday, July 7, at 6 p.m. at the Perry Memorial Library. The program is “Ancestry Update June 2022”, filled with interesting information about genealogy. All are welcome to attend.
