PHS HOLDS ANNUAL VETERANS DAY PROGRAM Perryton High School’s annual Veterans Day program brought together veterans from recent campaigns in the Middle East all the way back to World War II. Commissioners approve sign-on bonus for new deputy

The Ochiltree County Commissioners’ Court met on Monday, Nov. 14, at the Ochiltree County Courthouse. The commissioners approved a $3,600 sign-on bonus for a new deputy in the Ochiltree County Sheriff’s Department. The deputy is required to work for the county for 36 months after being hired.

Perryton Elks Lodge 2368 donated $4,000 to the VA Hospital in Amarillo to help with supplies for residents of the facility. The donation was made possible through one of the grant programs available to Elks Lodges across the country. Alamo Club makes wind chimes
