PCC resale store, office new locations The Panhandle Crisis Center’s Resale Store is now open at its temporary location at 21 SE 12th Street from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The store is not accepting donations at this time.

POLICE REPORT

Recent county jail activity: Jared Allen Cramer, 22, was arrested on a fourth degree felony charge of theft of property over $2,500 but less than $30,000. He was released on $20,000 bond.

  It’s been a tough past couple of weeks at OCSCA. But as Staci Broussard said “I know there was a lot of sadness at the seniors today, but all I felt was a whole lot of love”. How true she is.

City holds public meeting last week

Officials with the City of Perryton and Ochiltree County Emergency Management released another tornado recovery update. City staff, along with Mayor Kerry Symons, hosted a tornado victim question and answer session at Frank Phillips College last Thursday. Around 50 people were in atendance.

School board hears several updates

The Perryton School Board heard several updates on programs and other issues at its meeting Tuesday evening. Superintendent, Greg Brown, expressed his concern for registration and how the recent tornado will impact enrollment. The district will continue to watch numbers.

Four Price decides not to seek re-election

Texas state representative Four Price has announced he will not seek another term in the Texas House of Representatives. “It’s an honor for me to serve as the state representative for the 87th District, and I’m thankful to be representing the best people in Texas,” Price said.
