Early voting underway in March 5 primary elections

Early voting is underway in the March 5 primary elections. The early voting began Feb. 20, and will run through Friday, March 1. Early voting is in the Ochiltree County Courthouse, first floor, south office. Early voting hours from Feb. 20 through Friday, Feb. 23 are 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; Saturday, Feb.
The Rotary Club’s annual Cherry Pie Contest was held on Saturday, Feb. 17. Judges for the contest got to enjoy over 90 delicious pies and desserts that were entered into the competition, which raised over $7,700 for the Rotary Club. He spoke on “Making Your Comeback Better Than Your Setback” at Frank Phillips College Allen Campus last Thursday evening. The seminar was sponsored by Perryton National Bank and North Plains Electric Cooperative.
