PJH students compete in robotics tourney in Liberal

Students from Perryton Junior High’s robotics program competed in the First Lego League Greater Southwest Regional Tournament in Liberal, KS. Competitors in the tournament came from the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles, southeast Colorado, and southwest Kansas.

Burch to speak here on April 4

Julie Burch of Dallas will close out this year’s Leadership Perryton speakers on Thursday, April 4, with “You Make Me So Mad!” at the Frank Phillips College Allen Campus. Registration begins at 6 p.m., with the program to start at 6:30 p.m. There is no charge to attend.

Expo to host Dryland Crops Conference Texas A&M AgriLife Extension in Ochiltree, Lipscomb, and Hansford Counties will host the Northeast Panhandle Beef Cow Symposium at the Wolf Creek Heritage Museum in Lipscomb. The symposium is set for Wednesday, March 20, with registration beginning at 1 p.m.
