PISD board hears STAAR results

The Perryton School Board met Monday evening, discussing STAAR test results, construction, and lunch prices.Assistant superintendent Donna Hale reported that the preliminary campus STAAR scores showed a dip overall, with the exception of Williams Intermediate, which saw a slight increase.
Frank Phillips College Allen Campus, ran the first week of their annual Kids College this week, with lots of activities for kids from ages 5-12. During Farm Camp, kids got to meet interesting animals, including a pair of African spurred tortoises, owned by Dr. Kristina Keeth, a veterinarian from Spearman.
