RIBBON-CUTTING HELD AT CC & CO— Members of the Perryton-Ochiltree Chamber of Commerce, along with friends, family, staff, and well-wishers were on hand for a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the grand opening of CC & CO Boutique at 1502 S. Main in Perryton. The clothing boutique is owned by Clarissa Cepeda and Alex Cepeda.

School may be out for the summer, but Snack Pak 4 Kids is still working hard to make sure kids get delicious and nutritious snacks. The organization is distributing snack bags every Thursday through the end of July from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Stark Park, Leatherman Park, and Murphy Park. OQUIN TAKES FIRST AT STATE Rylan Oquin, a five-year member of Ochiltree County 4-H, placed first in the Every Day Living Construction competition, a garment construction event, at this month’s State 4-H Roundup in College Station. She is now eligible to compete at the National 4-H Fashion Competition.

A member of Ochiltree County 4-H placed first place in her event this month at the State 4-H Roundup and has now qualified to participate in the National competition.
The Perryton Municipal Water Park has opened once again for the summer swimming season. The regular hours for the water park are Monday through Saturday from 1-7 p.m. On Sundays, the pool is open from 2-6 p.m. In addition to the pool, slides, diving area, and splash pad, many swimmers enjoy floating leisurely around the Lazy River.

The Ochiltree County Commissioners’ Court met Monday at the Ochiltree County Courthouse.Among other items on the agenda, the commissioners discussed issues with road paving throughout the county.The commissioners of all four precincts told County Judge Charles E.

Swimming lessons scheduledSwimming lessons at the Perryton Municipal Water Park and Swimming Pool have been set for this summer. The first session will be from June 17-20, with the second session from July 15-19. The cost is $20 per child.
