USDA reminds producers to file acreage reports

Agricultural producers who have not yet completed their crop acreage reports after spring planting should make an appointment with the Ochiltree County Farm Service Agency (FSA) before the applicable deadline.An acreage report documents a crop grown on a farm or ranch, its intended use and location.

KFDA-TV to hold Summer Celebration

KFDA NewsChannel 10 from Amarillo will broadcast its evening newscasts from the grounds of the Ochiltree County Courthouse Wednesday, July 17.KFDA traditionally spends part of every summer broadcasting from communities throughout the Panhandle. This year, Perryton is on the station’s schedule.
