A juvenile suspect has been arrested for murder in the death of a Perryton woman.According to Ochiltree County Sheriff Terry Bouchard, Joni Lyn Morgan, 62, of Perryton was found dead in a field north of Rodeo Nights on the evening of Oct. 29.The Sheriff said the circumstances surrounding the death...
Perryton High School’s Student Council hosted a Fall Festival on Friday evening at Ranger Field. Carnivalstyle games and activities were set up around the field, while students from campus clubs and organizations set up booths to fundraise, including the PHS shop and woodworking classes, who sold items they had built in class.

The Friendship Quilt Guild presented 12 Quilts of Valor in a special presentation Oct. 12 at Community Worship Center.Alfred Sharpton of Perryton joined the U.S. Air Force in 1973. He attended basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.
