Robersons receive Rotary honors

The Perryton Rotary Club honored Bruce Roberson as a 50-year member and Ruth Roberson for being named a Paul Harris +2 Fellow.Bruce was invited by Ivan Day to join the Rotary Club in November, 1974. He served as club president 1999-2000 and has been on many committees through the years.

Council submits water improvement grant

The Perryton City Council passed a resolution authorizing a grant submission for water improvements, and adopted an ordinance amending the building code and regulations during a short meeting Tuesday evening.

United Way drive is now at 72%

The Ochiltree United Way’s 2025 fund drive has now reached 72% of its $96,000 goal. As of Tuesday, the drive had raised $69,287.One new 100% Company was added to the list, First-Bank Southwest, bringing the total to 16 so far.
