On May 6, Rita Castle celebrated 50 years of membership in the Eta Alpha Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma. During her membership, she held numerous positions and served on countless committees. The Top of the Panhandle Amateur Radio Club of Perryton has received a grant of $7,500 from the American Radio Relay League Foundation to help local Boy Scouts get into the hobby of amateur radio.

If you’ve been to the center this last week, you probably were thinking what in the Sam Hill is going on? The building is getting a face lift, thanks to Randy and Janice McLain. They aren’t building it themselves silly, but they did come up with the brilliant idea and the means to get ‘er done.

Night quilt group votes on challenge winners

The Friendship Quilt Guild night group met Oct. 11 at Community Worship Center. During 2022, members were “challenged” to sew a quilted project using string piecing. Members displayed their projects, which were voted on.
