Campbell named PPW July Young Careerist

Brooke Campbell has been named the Young Careerist for July by the Panhandle Professional Women’s Club. She and her husband, Jeremy, have two children, Londyn, age 5, and Kamdyn, age 2. Her hobbies are working out and going to Crossfit. Campbell is an attorney at the Lemon Law Firm.

Night quilt guild has program on “stack and whack” quilts

A program on “stack and whack” quilts was given to the Friendship Quilt Guild night group at its meeting July 13 at First Christian Church fellowship hall. The program was given by Julie Overall of the Quilters Cottage in Stinnett.

CELEBRATING THE OLYMPICS

Residents and staff at Senior Village will be celebrating the Olympic Games for the next few weeks. Residents will be divided into national teams and will engage in simple Olympics-themed competitions, including javelin, fencing, track and field, and more.
