Day quilt group members share holiday ideas

The Friendship Quilt Guild day group met Nov. 10 at Community Worship Center. The program was given by members, sharing Christmas ideas or sharing quilts with stories. Fern Lamberson showed a quilt that looked like a wrapped Christmas present.

Ag/Livestock club meets

The Ochiltree County 4-H Ag/Livestock Club met Nov. 6 at the Expo Center, with Michael Balzer conducting the meeting. The program was given by extension agent Scott Strawn on showmanship. He discussed the proper ways to bathe and clip animals for stock shows.
