Jennie Junes have program on Jireh

The Jennie June Club met Nov. 11 t Perry Memorial Library. Hostesses were Roberta Christian, Sheila Harris and Barbara Johnson. The program was given by Jason Vanosdol on the Jireh Outreach. He has overseen the project, located at 205 S. Colgate, since 2019.

MUSIC FOR THE MASSES—Perryton musicians have begun rehearsing for this year’s performance of Handel’s Messiah. The performance is on Sunday evening, Nov. 28, at 6 p.m. at First United Methodist Church.

Night quilt group shares various quilts, projects

The night group of the Friendship Quilt Guild met Nov. 9 at Community Worship Center. President Pam Sanders presided over the meeting. Minutes from the October meting were read by secretary Myrna Biggers, and the treasurer’s report was given by Sanders.
