We have new members ya’ll. Hats off to Pam Parker for coming aboard. Get it...hats off? Have you ever seen Pam without her hat on? She was here on our Thanksgiving lunch and was so busy going around visiting; she almost missed out on the food. What a bright spot she brings where ever she goes.

Leftovers:Keep the best part of Thanksgiving safe

The year’s biggest meal will be over soon, but delicious Thanksgiving leftovers will sustain you from Black Friday to Cyber Monday.

Jennie Junes have program on Jireh

The Jennie June Club met Nov. 11 t Perry Memorial Library. Hostesses were Roberta Christian, Sheila Harris and Barbara Johnson. The program was given by Jason Vanosdol on the Jireh Outreach. He has overseen the project, located at 205 S. Colgate, since 2019.

MUSIC FOR THE MASSES

MUSIC FOR THE MASSES—Perryton musicians have begun rehearsing for this year’s performance of Handel’s Messiah. The performance is on Sunday evening, Nov. 28, at 6 p.m. at First United Methodist Church.

Night quilt group shares various quilts, projects

The night group of the Friendship Quilt Guild met Nov. 9 at Community Worship Center. President Pam Sanders presided over the meeting. Minutes from the October meting were read by secretary Myrna Biggers, and the treasurer’s report was given by Sanders.

This Weeks Reminders: 1. Pick up Thanksgiving dressing on Monday between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. The earlier the better. Come between 9-11, and you are in and out in a flash. Show up at 11, you may have a short wait. Between 11:30 and 12:30 you will have a longer wait due to the lunch crowd.
