Rangers beat Bulldogs 3-0; are district co-champs

The Rangers and the Bulldogs showed that a defensive battle can be exciting, and a Ranger field goal in the final seconds of the fourth quarter gave Perryton the win and a District 1, 4A, DII co-championship with Estacado.

Rettes close out volleyball season

The Rangerette volleyball team closed out its 2020 season with the long trip to Hereford on Saturday. Perryton hoped to finish the season strong and avenge a loss earlier in the season by the score of 3-0. Hereford looked to prime their squad for another deep playoffrun.

Cornhole tournament winners are listed

The winners in the Perryton-Ochiltree Chamber of Commerce’s recent cornhole tournament have been announced. In the coed division, first place went to Randall and Debora Wynn and second was won by David and Brittany Morgan.

Pampa Lady Harvesters control the Rangerettes

The Perryton Rangerette volleyball team hosted the Pampa Lady Harvesters for their second meeting of the season on Tuesday. Pampa decisively defeated the Rettes in three sets in their first meeting in Pampa.

Rangers lose close contest to Estacado Matadors, 26-20

The Rangers lost a close one, 26-20, to Lubbock Estacado Thursday night in Lubbock. Perryton played hard but turnovers at inopportune times made the difference. The Rangers started off with a bang. Estacado took the opening kick off, but in four plays had to punt.

Rettes drop three matches

The Rangerette volleyball team continues to trudge through their tough district schedule. Perryton played their best match of the district season in Borger last Saturday. The Rettes were defeated in five sets by the scores of 25-16, 16-25, 25-12, 23-25 and 15-4, but played well.
