Rangers secure important victory

The Ranger basketball team travelled to Borger for a critical matchup on Friday. Perryton desperately needed a victory to keep their playoff hopes alive. Borger also needed a win to keep their playoff chances active.

Rangerettes close out basketball season

The Rangerette basketball team traveled to Hereford for their final game of the season on Tuesday night. It was must-win game for the Rettes to keep any playoff hopes alive. Hereford looked to secure a playoff spot with a victory.

Rangers fall to the Hereford Whitefaces

The Perryton Ranger basketball team struggled in the first half of Tuesday’s game and never recovered. The Hereford Whitefaces jumped out to an early lead and cruised to the victory.

Demonettes slip by Rettes

It was a story of two halves on Friday night at Ranger Gym. The Rangerettes faced the Dumas Demonettes for the second time this season after losing to them by the score of 69-48 earlier in the season.

Rangers defeated in shootout with Demons

Despite 20 points from Julian Cervantes, the Rangers were defeated in a shootout with the Dumas Demons on the hardwood on Friday night in Perryton. Perryton matched the Demon’s point production in the second and third quarters.

Rangers secure big win on the road

The Ranger basketball team traveled to Pampa for a re-match with the Harvesters on Tuesday. Perryton opened the district season with a win over Pampa at home by the score of 38-36. The Rangers needed a win in the second game with the Harvesters to stay in the playoff picture.

Rangerettes defeated in a heartbreaker

Clifton McNeely Fieldhouse on the campus of Pampa High School was the site of the second meeting between the Rangerette and Lady Harvester basketball teams on Tuesday. The teams entered the contest with equal district records as they battle for a playoff spot.

Rettes fall to Canyon

The Rangerettte basketball team traveled to Canyon for a re-match with the district leading Lady Eagles on Saturday. Canyon won easily in Perryton by the score of 73-33 in the pair’s first meeting. The Rangerettes have steadily improved since that outing, but struggled n Saturday.
