Jennifer Simmons, 49, of Pottsboro, formerly of Perryton, died Sept. 29, 2020. Graveside services were held Friday, Oct. 2, at Ochiltree Cemetery with Rev. Dan Anderson officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

Karen D. Head, 55, of Perryton, died Sept. 24, 2020. Memorial services were held Monday, Sept. 28, at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Duce Cooper officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. She was born April 16, 1965 in Sentinel, OK.

Myrtle Mae Wilson, 91, of Perryton died Sept. 24, 2020. Services were held Monday, Sept. 28, at Key Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Duce Cooper officiating. Burial was in Bluemound Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

Troy Hoover

Troy “Grampa” Hoover of Elmwood, Oklahoma, died peacefully at his home on September 29, 2020, at the age of 72. Troy was born on May 26, 1948 in Perryton, to Leon and Grace Hoover. He graduated from Beaver High School in 1966.

Merlin Dale Janzen, 65, of Balko, OK died Sept. 23, 2020. Memorial services were held Sunday, Sept. 27, at Crossroads Bible Fellowship with Pastor James Epp officiating. Burial was in Balko Mennonite Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. He was born Nov.

Ariana Michelle Fox

Ariana Michelle Fox, previously Jayson Arick Jones, 26, of Liberal, KS, died on Sept.19, 2020. Funeral services were held Friday Sept. 25, 2020 at 1 p.m. at Trinity Faith Church in Liberal, with Pastor Terry Engler and Pastor Elwyn Rogers officiating. Interment was in Ochiltree Cemetery.

Juan Gonzales

Juan Gonzales, 65, of Perryton, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2020. Services are scheduled for a later date in Harlingen. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton. Juan was born Jan. 29, 1955 in Donna to Vidal and Feliza Arzola Gonzales.

Kent Courson

William Kent Courson, 61, of Perryton, passed away on September 23, 2020, on his ranch in Perryton. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Sept. 28, at Ochiltree County Cemetery, with Mark Metzger officiating an outdoor ceremony to begin at 11 a.m.

Donald Dean Cochran

Donald Dean Cochran was born on Aug. 8, 1935, in Chandler, OK, to Emily Murrell (Herd) and William K. Polk Cochran. A proud Class of 1954 graduate of Chandler High School, Dean was a multisport varsity letterman, loved basketball, and excelled in track and field events.

Doug Fiskin

Doug Fiskin, 86, of Amarillo, formerly of Perryton, died Sept. 21, 2020. Services will be held Monday, Sept. 28, at 2 p.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, with Rev. Corky Holland, minister of First Baptist Church of Amarillo, officiating. Burial will follow in Ochiltree Cemetery.
