Edgar Ramos, 18, of Perryton, died Sept. 17, 2025.Services were held Monday, Sept. 22, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Restlawn Cemetery in Liberal, KS.He was born Jan. 11, 2007 in Liberal.

Rites set for Ogilvie

Oleta OgilvieOleta Marie Ogilvie, 82, of Perryton died Sept. 19, 2025 after a battle with pancreatic cancer.Memorial services will be held Friday, Sept. 26, at 10 a.m. at the Booker Christian Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

The 50-star American flag was designed by a high school student named Robert G. Heft in 1958. He’d designed the flag as a school project and received a grade of B-minus.
