It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kelsey Stecklein, who left this world on Nov. 13, 2025, at the age of 34.
Born on February 18, 1991, Kelsey was a beloved daughter, wife, sister, and aunt, whose vibrant spirit and unwavering love touched the lives of all who knew her.
Kelsey is survived by her devoted husband, Wade A. Holcomb, with whom she shared 16 cherished years of love and companionship. She is also survived by her mother, Mary Ann Slaughter and her husband Tom; her sisters, Shawna Gilbert and her husband Justin, and Madison Stecklein and Kalem Smith; her brothers, Cody Stecklein and Lori Eisenman, and Adam Slaughter and his wife Sandra; maternal grandmother, Ruth Ann Keller: and a host of nieces and nephews who will forever remember her warmth and kindness.
Kelsey was preceded in death by her father, Brent Stecklein, and her beloved grandparents, Wilbur and Ona “Pat” Stecklein.
She graduated from Perryton High School and later from West TexasA&M Uni-versity, where she laid the foundation for a life filled with learning and growth.
In her free time, Kelsey delighted in doing her hair and makeup and showering love upon her cats and husband. Her passion for life and genuine affection for those around her will be deeply missed.
A celebration of Kelsey’s life will be held at a later date, where friends and family will gather to honor her memory. Details regarding the celebration of life will be announced later.
Kelsey’s legacy of love and joy will endure in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her. May she rest in peace.
