Arthur Wesley Jenkins, 101, of Booker, died Oct. 25, 2025.
Viewing will be Thursday, Oct. 30, from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Booker. Burial will be Friday, Oct. 31, at 11 a.m. at Sophia Cemetery in rural Beaver County, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.
He was born Feb. 24, 1924 in Beaver County, OK, and grew up on a farm near Booker. After high school graduation, he bought a farm near Booker, and also worked at Northern Natural Gas plant.
He married Grace May Corder in 1960 in Beaver County. He attended Church of Christ in Booker.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Dianna Jenkins; one son, Craig Jenkins; his parents, Esther (Davis) and Perry Jenkins; and two sisters, Virginia Jenkins Niles and Barbara Jenkins Altman.
He is survived by his wife, Grace May, of Booker; one daughter, Darla Jenkins Baird of Oklahoma City, OK; one son, Don Jenkins of Beaver, OK; one brother, Lyndell Jenkins of Tulsa, OK; and two sisters, Coweta Jenkins Akridge of Beaver, OK and Cheryl Jenkins Slovacek of Edmond, OK; 12 grandchildren; 24 greatgrandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
