Tonya Sue Ross, 71, of Perryton, died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2024. No services are scheduled. Tonya was born April 11, 1952, in Tulsa, OK to Rosa Mae (Busby) Helscel and Walter Helscel. Tonya was born and raised in Tulsa, and graduated from Amarillo High School. She married Irvin Ross on June 17, 1972.

Funeral services for Marilyn Ruth Reitz Sanderlin, 85, of Irving will be 11 a.m., Thursday, February 15, 2024, at the Colonial Funeral Home of Irving Chapel in Irving. Chaplain Rick Smith will officiate. Burial will follow at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Alberto Gonzales Alberto Gonzales, 79, of Booker, died Feb. 3, 2024. Services were held Tuesday, Feb. 6, at First Baptist Church in Booker with Pastor Kevin Wauer officiating. Burial followed in Heart Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Perryton.

Ella June Thomas Ella June Thomas, infant daughter of Brayton and Morgan Thomas, died Jan. 23, 2024 in Amarillo. Graveside services were held Saturday, Jan. 27, at Capital View Cemetery, north of Elmwood, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.

J Thomas Lofland

J Thomas Lofland died on Sunday, January 21, 2024, due to complications from ALS. Tom was born in Hugoton, Kansas, on September 20, 1951, to Bonny (Marcellus) and Lloyd Lofland. He grew up in Perryton, with siblings Sue, Jim, Kip, and Chris.

Evans dies on Jan. 26

Sharon Evans Sharon Evans, 74, of Perryton, died Jan. 26, 2024. No services have been planned at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Perryton. She was born June 11, 1949 in Olney.

David Gift David Lee Gift, 66, of Perryton, died Jan. 27, 2024. Graveside services will be held at Bethany Cemetery on Friday, Feb. 2, at 11 a.m. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

Linda Louise Janow

Linda Louise Janow Humphreys, 71, of Alvarado, formerly of Perryton, went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 12, 2023, in Cleburne. She was born in Oklahoma City, OK on January 13, 1952 to Billie Ray Janow and Alice Louise (Renfro) Janow, the first of five daughters.

Dale Eastep Dale “Tuffy” Eastep, 81, of Darrouzett died Jan. 12, 20224 in Perryton. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 10, at 11 a.m. at Darrouzett Baptist Church. A second memorial service will be held in Durant, OK.

Carmela Nevarez Carmela Nevarez, 61, of Perryton, died Jan. 16, 2024 in Perryton. Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 19, at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Perryton, with Sergio Estrada officiating.
