Marilyn Dorman

Marilyn Dorman, 82, of Perryton, passed away Monday, April 22, 2024 in Perryton.

Viewing will be on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 9: a.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 9 a.m to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be held Friday, April 26, 2024 at 10 a.m at Key Heights Baptist Church in Perryton, officiated by Rev. Duce Cooper. Burial will follow in Ochiltree Cemetery, and arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton.

Marilyn was born on December 19, 1941 in Mountain View, Missouri to Eldrid Smith and Vivian Waln and later was raised by Jim “Grandpa” Lakey. She married her husband, Foy, on September 6, 1958, and she was a member of the Key Heights Baptist Church in Perryton.

Marilyn is survived by three sons, Jimmy Dorman, Ronnie Dorman, and Terry Dorman and wife Renee, all of Perryton; two sisters, Diana Short of Paris, Texas, and Jeanne Crossland of Shamrock; four granddaughters, Cami Wood and husband Laramie of Perryton, Lindsey Lossie and husband Jeremy of Perryton, Kendra McDonald and husband Chris of Booker, and Ashley Haberthur and husband Chance of Perryton; one grandson, Heath Dorman and wife Kelsie of Perryton; and 13 greatgrandchildren.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Foy Dorman; one daughter- in-law, Annette Dorman; one granddaughter, April Dorman; and one grandson, Jimmy “Bo” Dorman.

The family requests memorials be to Key Heights Baptist Church.
