PJH students compete in robotics tourney in Liberal

Students from Perryton Junior High’s robotics program competed in the First Lego League Greater Southwest Regional Tournament in Liberal, KS. Competitors in the tournament came from the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles, southeast Colorado, and southwest Kansas.

County commissioners approve purchase of license plate readers

The Ochiltree County Commissioners’ Court met on Monday morning at the Ochiltree County Courthouse. Among other items on the agenda, the commissioners voted to join the Panhandle Auto Theft Unit on a grant to purchase license plate readers for the county.
