Rangers dominate Fort Stockton, 58-27, to take bi-district title

The 3-7 Rangers were on fire last Friday night, with prolific passing and running, and a tough defense, propelling them to a big 58-27 win over the 9-1 Fort Stockton Panthers, and the bi-district title. Perryton will face Glen Rose for the area title this Friday in Iowa Park. Game time is 7 p.m.

Rangers handle Borger, win 41-14

After a rout in their last game against West Plains, the Rangers came roaring back last Friday, handily defeating the Borger Bulldogs, 41-14, at Ranger Field. The win puts the Rangers’ district record at 2-1, and 36 overall.

The Canadian Wildcats showed why they are the no. 1 team in the state in 3A, DII Friday night at Ranger Field, proving to be an unstoppable force. They scored on nine of their 11 possessions to cruise to a 63-13 victory.

Eagles top Rangers, 42-34

The Rangers lost another close contest, 42-34, to the Canyon Eagles on the road. The loss drops the Rangers record to 0-2 on the young season. They will travel to Dumas this Friday to take on the Demons. The game against Canyon began on a bright note.
Sure, there are drills and cheer practice and learning dances and all the hard work, but half the fun of cheer camp has got to be hanging out with the big cheerleaders, right? Perryton Junior High School’s cheerleaders hosted the PJH Mini Cheer Camp this week from Monday through Wednesday. Future cheerleaders in grades kindergarten through fifth grade were welcome to attend.
