The Rangerette basketball team opened the district season on Tuesday at home with a huge win. The Borger Lady Bulldogs came to town to face the Rettes and were never in the contention to win the game after the opening tip. Rangerette freshman Erin Merkel and senior Johanna Perez stepped up as Perryton won going away by the final score of 65-29.
