Rites held for former resident

Mark Sanders, 69, of Hobbs, NM, formerly of Perryton, died Jan. 16, 2022. A graveside service was held Friday, Jan. 21, in Ochiltree Cemetery with Rev. Marlon Sparks officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

Esther Villalobos

Esther Villalobos, 62, of Spearman, died Jan. 15, 2022. Services were held Wednesday, Jan. 19, at Four Square Gospel Church with Rev. Carmen Cano officiating. Burial followed in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

Robert Graves

Robert Graves, 98, of Perryton died Jan. 13, 2022. A private family graveside service will be held in Ochiltree Cemetery with Rev. Steve Rogers officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. He was born Dec. 31, 1923 in Hardesty, OK.

Lonzo Landrum

Lonzo Landrum, 90, of Perryton, died Jan. 18, 2022. A celebration of life service will be held Thursday, Jan. 20, at 10:30 a.m. at Boxwell Brothers Chapel with Rev. Mark Metzger officiating. Burial will follow in Ochiltree Cemetery.

Connie Hamric Perry

Connie Hamric Perry, 72, of Booker, formerly of Abilene, died Dec. 18, 2021. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 15, at Broadview Baptist Church in Abilene. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.

Alice Annette Martin

Alice Annette Martin, 77, of Perryton, died Jan. 5, 2022. A private family service will be held at a later date. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

Dr. Gerald Dale Strate

Dr. Gerald Dale Strate, 74, went home to be with Jesus on Jan. 4, 2022 at his home. Services will be Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa with Rev. Byron Williamson, pastor of First Baptist Church in Pampa, officiating.

Melton Charles Haberthur

Melton Charles Haberthur, known by most as “Mel”, 60, of Perryton passed away on Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022. A Memorial Service was held on Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022, 10 a.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev. Wes Stevens and Dave Jones officiating.

Velma Smith Barton

Velma Smith Barton, of Lipscomb County, passed away on Dec. 21, 2021. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Velma was born Sept. 19, 1938 to James Oliver Smith and Hazel Lee Ferguson Smith. She was the fifth of six children.

Robert Warren Maxwell

Robert Warren Maxwell, 58, of Amarillo, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022. Celebration of Life Services will be 10: a.m. at The Church at Bushland, with Pastor Byron Williamson, of First Baptist Church of Pampa officiating. Robert was born March 19, 1963 in Perryton to Gary and Linda Maxwell.
