Rachel Rumbaugh

Rachel Dawn Rumbaugh, 26, died April 15, 2023 at her home in Dodge City, Kansas. Funeral services will be held at on Saturday, April 22 at 2 p.m. at Community Worship Center, with Pastor Kevin Britton presiding. There is no visitation as cremation will take place.

Darol Perkins, 69, of Irving, formerly of Booker, died April 9, 2023. Graveside services were held Friday, April 14, at Ochiltree Cemetery with Rev. Rick Pearson officiating. He was born May 11, 1953 in Leon, OK, and graduated from Booker High School.

Greg Mounsey

Greg Mounsey, 64, of Perryton, passed away Monday, April 3, 2023. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 1 p.m. at the Booker Methodist Church Fellowship Hall with George Auld and Gene McPeak officiating. Greg came into this world on Jan. 13, 1959.

John B. Hardy

John B. Hardy, 102, of Perryton, Texas passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023. A graveside service was held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Ochiltree Cemetery.

Rites held for Custer

Merl Roy Custer, 79, died April 5, 2023. Services were held Wednesday, April 12 at the Midway Country Church in Logan, OK. Interment followed in Kiowa Cemetery in Logan. Services were under the direction of Scotty Schilling Funeral Director of Follett.

Olivia Frias, 60, of Perryton, died April 7, 2023. Funeral mass was held Tuesday, April 11, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Cesar Gomez officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

Loretta Ross

Loretta Ross, 74, of Perryton, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023. Viewing/visitation will be 9 a.m.-9 p.m., Thursday, April 6, and Friday, April 7. Service will be held Saturday, April 8, at 10 a.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Perryton, with Rev. Richard Laverty officiating.

Leona Armstrong Leona Chlotee Bridges Armstrong, 96, of Perryton, died March 29, 2023. Graveside services were held Saturday, April 1, at Ochiltree Cemetery, with a memorial service following at First Baptist Church in Spearman with Rev. Byron Potter officiating.

Peggy Lasater

Peggy Ann Blackmore Lasater, 87, of Denton, passed away on March 26, 2023, at her home. She was born in Perryton on November 25, 1935, to Carl and Gladys (Holland) Blackmore. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, teacher, and friend.

Rites held for Trejo

Adam Trejo Adam Trejo, 33, of New Town, ND, formerly of Perryton, died March 20, 2023. Services were held Tuesday, March 28, at United Pentecostal Church in Perryton with David Hernandez officiating. Burial followed in Ochiltree Cemetery.
