Gene Wagner, 76, of Perryton, died Sept. 13, 2024 in Amarillo.Services will be held Thursday, Sept. 19, at 2 p.m. at Boxwell Brothers Chapel in Perryton. Graveside services will be at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Perryton.

Charleen Randlee Schickedanz

Charleen Randlee Schickedanz, 86, entered the heavenly gates Saturday, September 7, 2024.She was born June 13, 1938, in Shattuck, Oklahoma, to Charles and Della Selby. Charleen was raised in Perryton, and graduated from Perryton High School in 1956.

Ernest Davis Barclay, 99, of Perryton, died Set. 4, 2024.Graveside services were held Saturday, Sept. 7, at Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.He was born April 30, 1925 in Perryton, and married Bernadine Buxton on July 8, 1950 in Clayton, NM.

Eunice Maxine Fisher

Eunice Maxine Fisher, age 98, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2024. A graveside service of remembrance will be held in Shelton, Nebraska at a later date.She was born in Republican City, Nebraska on October 22, 1925, to Lloyd William and Jessie Mae (Marshall) Grant.

Dennis C. McClung

Dennis Carroll McClung (age 77) passed away on July 31, 2024 after a brave and courageous battle with Lewy Body Dementia.He was born in Perryton on Dec. 4, 1946 to Carroll R. and Frances M. (Fausset) McClung. He grew up in Perryton where he started working in his Dad’s grocery store at a young age.

Vera “Rozelle” Wilson, age 92, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2024, in Cape Fair, MO.She was born in Gray, OK, to Raymond Franklin and Vera Hope (Swan) Vaughn. Rozelle lived fiftythree years on a farm in Perryton.She moved to San Antonio, where she pursued her love of seashells and scuba diving.
