Reneah Wilson, 67, of Perryton died Feb. 28, 2021.

Services will be held Thursday, March 4, at 1 p.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Ochiltree Cemetery.

The funeral home will be open for viewing/visitation on Thursday, March 4, from 9 a.m. until service time. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell brothers Funeral Home.

Due to COVID-19 guidelines, social distancing will be practiced and occupancy numbers will be limited. Services will be broadcast live on the funeral home’s Facebook page, which can be accessed at boxwellbros. com.

She was born Oct. 15, 1953 in Ranger, and moved to Perryton in 1965. She married Jim Wilson on Nov. 6, 1972 in Clayton, NM.

She was a registered nurse and helped organize the Ochiltree General Hospital Hospice and Home Health programs, as well as other community health programs. She was also a diabetic health educator and volunteered at the Panhandle Crisis Center, Panhandle Professional Women and extension clubs. She was a member of first Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Marion and Velma Elizabeth (Hughes) Thorton; two brothers, Martin McKee and Justin McKee; and one sister, Gail Thorton Thomas.

She is survived by her husband, Jim, of the home; Two daughters, Audra Cruz of Pierce City, MO and Amy Stewart of Perryton; and four grandchildren.
