Ruby Ann (Patton) Bull, 95, of Longview passed away Friday December 8, 2023.
A graveside service was scheduled at Rosewood Park Mausoleum in Longview Wednesday, December 13, at 2 p.m. with family visitation and viewing at 1 p.m.
Ruby Ann was born in Perryton to Lake and Dixie Patton. She graduated from Perryton High School in 1945 and attended college at West Texas State.
She married Weldon Bull on April 9,1949, in Clayton, New Mexico. They established their home in the Panhandle of Oklahoma on a wheat farm.
She was a member of the First Christian Church. Ruby worked for 30 years for the U.S. Postal Service, serving nine years as Postmaster at Balko, Oklahoma. She retired in 1992.
She moved to Longview in 2011 and then to Arabella Assisted Living. She enjoyed playing bridge and participating in Senior Activities.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Weldon Bull, sister, Nelda Slaughter, and grandson, Brian Yohn.
She is survived by her daughters Cynthia Herman of Longview and Jan Yohn and husband Martin of Gladewater; brother, Don Patton of Lake Jackson, and many nieces and nephews.
Grandchildren are Todd Yohn and wife Erin, David Herman, Jennifer Hampton and husband David, Betsy Yohn, Sarah Odell and husband Chris, Susan Yohn, Matt Yohn and wife Kelly, Chris Yohn and wife Lindsey, Andrew and wife KC. She had 15 grand Children, Jack and Henry Yohn, Connor and Halle Hampton, Abby and Will Yohn, Andrea Yohn, Allison and Porter Yohn, Carly, Katie and Reese Odell, Stephen, Andrew and Naomi Yohn.
