L’Esperance rites held

Emilio Ernest L’Esperance, 78, of Perryton, died July 11, 2020.

Services were held Wednesday, July 15, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Cesar Gomez officiating. Burial followed in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

He was born March 1, 1942 in Las Vegas, NM, and married Rosemary Murillo on Jan. 12, 1963 in Denver, CO. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymundo and Brigida L’Esperance; and one brother, Miguel L’Esperance.

He is survived by his wife, Rosemary; three daughters, Mother Rita Ann L’Esperance, Association of Christ the King, Elizabeth L’Esperance, both of Amarillo, and Samantha Rodriguez of Angleton; two sons, Mark L’Esperance of Canadian, and Ronnie L’Esperance of Perryton; four brothers, Felix L’Esperance, Joe L’Esperance, Paul L’Esperance and Ramon L’Esperance Jr.; three sisters, Catalina Mariz, Rose Sena and Silvia Andrade; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
