Jack Dyer, 87, of Perryton, died Oct. 14, 2020.

Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. The funeral home will be open for visitation on Saturday, Oct. 17, Sunday, Oct. 18, and Monday, Oct. 19, from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, social distancing will be practiced and occupancy numbers will be limited.

He was born March 20, 1933 in Castro County, and married Jennie Scott in June 1953 in Wellington.

He was the ag teacher at Perryton High School for many years. He was also a member of the Perryton Promenaders Club and First United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jennie, in 1993; his parents, P.H. and Jimmie (Sweazea) Dyer; and siblings Wayne, Elaine Lucille, Billie, Jim and Mary Gene.

He is survived by one son, Don Dyer, of Perryton; one daughter, Kallie George of Columbia, MO; four grandchildren; and six greatgrandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to one’s favorite charity.
