Betty Pugh Daniel, 94, of Perryton died Nov. 14, 2020.

Services were held Tuesday, Nov. 17, at the Church of Christ with Mikel Petersen, Billy McCallie and Robert Moore officiating. Burial followed in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

She was born Sept. 14, 1926 in Perryton, and graduated from Perryton High School. She graduated from West Texas State University in 1947.

She was food service director for the Perryton Independent School District for over 20 years. She was an active member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Talbot Ott and Hattie Blanche (Holland) Pugh; one son, David Daniel; and two brothers, Estel Pugh and Delos Pugh.

She is survived by three sons, John P. Daniel and Brodie Daniel, both of Perryton and Tab Daniel of Lubbock; two daughters, Barbara Bratton of Fayetteville, AR and Katherine Goforth of Edmond, OK; one sister, L. Louise Box of Amarillo; 14 grandchildren; and 18 greatgrandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to Ochiltree County Senior Citizens Association, 1200 SW 15th Ave., Perryton, or to Perryton Christian Academy, P.O. Box 1251, Perryton.
